The “OFF” and “DEF” columns are expressed in points per possession against a hypothetical “average” team. For example, a team with a 1.1 “OFF” rating and a 0.9 “DEF” rating would be expected to score 1.1 points per possession against an average team and allow 0.9 points per possession.

The “TEMPO” column represents the expected number of possessions that the listed team would be expected to have with a hypothetical average team over a 40 minute (i.e. regulation) game.
